Description
"Radium Girls' by D.W.Gregory, a Pulitzer-prize nominated playwright. , presented as part of "Minds Wide Open: Virginia Celebrates Women in the Arts”. The play is based on the tragic true story surrounding the U.S. Radium Corporation scandal of the 1920's. Directed by Amy Berlin with, Michele Morris, Bill Brock, Jim Barbour, Tara Callahan, Jeff Clevenger, Jonathan Hardison, Lisa Kotula, Sarah Legere and Alexandra Martin. Set Design by Lin Heath, lighting by Alan Armstrong, sound by Buddy Bishop and costumes by Sheryle Criswell. Opens Friday, March 26 at Chamberlayne Actors Theatre. 319 N. Wilkinson Road. Performances start at 8 pm and run through April 11. Matinees on March 27, 28, April 3 and 11, at 2:30 p.m. Regular ticket price $15. Reservations required.
